The famous rock with an arched hole that gives it's name to the village of Perce, erect, steep and inaccessible it stands at a distance from the shore, armoured and broken from it's moorings and only the birds dare to go aboard it.

Year 2010 - Juan Aquino Juan Aquino, born and raised in Lima Peru, emigrated to Canada in 1988. He obtained a Bachelor in Psychology at the University Garsilasco de la Vega in Lima in 1982 and worked as a psychologist at the Employment Ministry in Lima from 1977 to 1985. In 1987, Juan Aquino studied drawing at the National School of Fine Arts in Lima and in 1997 he obtained a Bachelor in Visual Arts at the University of Québec in Montreal. He has worked as Decorative artist for Toontek, Cadmium Scénique and Ciné Groupe Animation. Juan Aquino has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Canada, Peru, Mexico and Nicaragua. He has lived and works in Montreal since 1988. |
